COSENZA On June 17th, the Cosenza Chamber of Commerce presents the Statute and the new Regulations of “Costantino Mortati” Arbitration Chamber and, on this occasion, organizes a dissemination and in-depth event on alternative dispute resolution tools, with the intervention of the presidents of the province’s courts and national experts in the sector.
The event represents an important meeting aimed at businesses, professionals and public employees in the area, to discuss the critical issues related to the timing of justice and the opportunities offered by the alternative tools made available by the legal system. The objective is to reflect on innovative solutions to decongest the judicial system, with benefits for the entire community.
In fact, using this type of tool leads to significant savings in both time (it could take up to ten years to obtain finality of the sentence) and costs (it is certainly cheaper to start an arbitration or mediation rather than turning to justice). ordinary).
The chamber of commerce system and the Cosenza Chamber of Commerce, in particular, have always been committed to the promotion and dissemination of alternative justice tools. The “Costantino Mortati” Arbitration Chamber is established at the Chamber of Commercethe only body present in Calabria and one of the very few in the whole of Southern Italy, where it is possible to start a regulated arbitration procedure, in the presence of qualified professionals and with the possibility of obtaining a definitive award, comparable in all respects to a first instance sentence.
