A series of meetings and conferences, during which the transport community, in partnership with the Albanian Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy, the Port Authority of Durres and the University of Durres, discusses issues related to maritime transport and at the same time it celebrates and honors Seafarers’ Day.

A moment dedicated to seafarers, to those on whom the transport of 95% of goods around the world depends. These are workers who live in difficult, often unfamiliar conditions: high workloads, long periods away from family and friends with limited ability to communicate for weeks and difficulties in obtaining leave.

This year’s theme: “Together Connected: Celebrating Maritime Heroes” – #SafetyTipsAtSea1

President Patroni Griffi, as part of the conference “Safety first, Trade always” – launched the idea of creating an association of ports in the southern Adriatic which could give greater vigor and impetus to the proposals and strategies of the Mam ports, of which Termoli is part of.

The main objective of Maritime Week is to cultivate an environment of collaboration, knowledge exchange and networking among key international players in the maritime sector.
