Fight against illegal gambling, ADM and GDF compared in Pescara

Fully exploit institutional synergies And consolidate collaborative relationships, mutual support and complementarity, so as to combat illegality in the gaming sector. This is the objective of the coordination meeting between the representatives of the Monopolies Office for Abruzzo based in Pescara and those of the Provincial Command of the Financial Police of Pescara.
During the meeting, chaired by the director of the Monopolies Office for Abruzzo, Stefania Provini and by the provincial commander of the Guardia di Finanza of Pescara, Antonio Caputo, a structured action plan for the control of the territory of the Province of Pescara for the prevention and fight against illegal gambling.

Colonel Caputo, on the occasion, underlined that “for the Guardia di Finanza, the commitment in the operational sector of gaming and betting represents an important priority within the framework of actions aimed at guaranteeing ever higher levels of economic-financial security. This is in the knowledge that the pathological phenomena connected to this sector are often contiguous to the forms of infiltration of crime, including organized crime, into the fabric of the legal economy of the territory”.

For his part, Provini reiterated that “the collaboration between the Adm and the Financial Police in the context of controls on gaming and betting is a common objective in consideration of the specific skills and professionalism of the personnel involved in combating crimes”.
