CIVITAVECCHIA – We receive and publish M5S from Vincenzo D’Antò
After intense discussions and a sincere attempt to build a common front, against a right that we consider to be the most harmful for the city, the center-left coalition has not yet decided (technically there is time until Sunday at 12:00) to accept the formal alliance with our entire coalition made up of M5S, Lista D’anto and Civitavecchia Popolare. Instead, we were asked, informally, to exclude a large part of the coalition. I believe it is a request that, as a candidate for mayor and representative of a cohesive group that has been working for the city for some time, is not feasible: not involving every single member of the group would be a modification for those who have spent themselves without sparing themselves to support the project beyond what a favor to this right.
Despite this situation, aware of the importance of the historical moment, we believe we must still support the front that on Sunday 23rd will find itself stemming one of the worst right-wing movements that lie ahead in the future of Civitavecchia: we think it is a civic duty for anyone who loves the city.
In the certainty of interpreting the duty of our supporters, we reiterate to them that we will never stop fighting for our ideals and for our vision of Civitavecchia.
In the belief that together we can make a difference more effectively, we do not give up the hope of a better future for our city.
