Quartu, “known” thieves unleashed between Le Vele and Viale Marconi: “Showcases smashed and beauty center burgled”

Thieves are increasingly rampant in Quartu, also and especially in the central areas. Last night they went into action at Luxury 73 by Michela Caboni, a beauty center that has been open for a year and a half. After breaking the main window they raided: “They fled with the cash register with one hundred euros inside, four straighteners and two hairdryers. The damages amount to at least four thousand euros,” explains Caboni. The police have already intervened on site, the officers have acquired the images produced by the security camera installed by the twenty-eight year old: “I have that and also the lookout who, every night, comes by to check that everything is in order, but apparently it’s not enough and more controls are absolutely needed. The criminals struck at six thirty in the morning, at a time when the road is already a bit busy. But no one, apparently, saw anything.” The criminals are two faces known to many shopkeepers, just wander around the “musicians” neighborhood to discover that the identikits match: “Two young people, certainly Sardinian, driving around in a small black or dark blue car”. The police would already have clear ideas, but the investigations are still continuing.

“They also recently struck in a beauty center and a clothing store in Le Vele, always with the same technique”. That is, going into action at night, smashing windows and, once inside the shops, managing to grab especially the most expensive objects, as well as the money left in the tills.
