Rental adjustment from 207: the decision of the Ater of Pescara – News

Pescara. “Ater Pescara, with the minutes of the resolution of the board of directors dated 17 May, indicated in the document that new ISTAT updates on the agreed fees will be applied in 2027 based on the expiry of the individual contract”.

This is reported by Giuseppe Oleandro, general secretary of Sunia Abruzzo Molise, who reports: “A decision which is also the result of the commitment of Sunia Pescara which on the occasion of formal and informal meetings in the recent past, in addition to exposing problems relating to the maintenance of the buildings of social housing has proposed not updating ISTAT for rents at an agreed rate so as not to further penalize the incomes of citizens who are greatly affected by the costs of living.

The decision taken by Ater will be valid for all rental contracts with agreed rent throughout the provincial territory and also for new assignments.

“The decision of the Ater of Pescara – adds Oleandro – finally takes into account the concerns that the Sunia, together with the other Istat unions of the rents of the Ater accommodation at agreed rent, has determined increases of more than 500 euros per year. These increases have exposed many tenants to the risk of arrears. For this reason, like Sunia, we believe the choice of the Ater of Pescara is a common sense and far-sighted choice which we hope can be replicated throughout the regional territory”.
