Discovery and flavor are the basic ingredients of the second event of ValSavor, the slow cycle tourism proposal that crosses the valleys of the province of Forlì, which on Sunday 16 June offers various itineraries in the surroundings of Castrocaro Terme starting from the regenerated river park from 9 to 10. Three proposals that cross a land shaped by nature and the work of man and enriched by gastronomic culture which, together with the warmth of hospitality, have elected Romagna as the land of hospitality par excellence: biking, trekking and family walking.

The offer for e-bikes and gravel of 15, 29 or 44 km, moves on an undulating route with panoramic sections, touching Predappio Alta, Monte della beer and Sadurano, to return to Castrocaro to refresh itself within the walls of the fortress.

The hills that surround Castrocaro will be the scene of the 5 km guided trek among castles and rows of vineyards, parks and historic buildings that blend with the ‘wild’ nature with great harmony. In the finale, a particular encounter with the centuries-old olive tree of the fortress, a symbol of rebirth and regeneration, but also of peace, which these lands and the entire world absolutely needs.

The trees will also be the protagonists of the family walk, a short route led by guides specialized in Nature Bathing with Giulia Terlicher’s NaTUra method. Among trees and thoughts, families will have fun with playful, sensorial and creative activities to share moments together in contact with nature, awaken the senses and recharge.

Like all Valsavor events, taste, capable of telling and summarizing the history of a territory, will close the multisensory experience. The fabulous and ‘historic’ bruschettas of the Alpine club, enriched with herb ravioletti with shallots and bacon, will refresh active tourists who will be able to toast with local wines or beer.

The event with open participation and limited numbers is free (excluding tasting) with reservations required on the website www.trailromagna.eu
