Viterbo -We receive and publish – Another sign of attention from the Meloni government for Tuscia and the city of Viterbo.

Another 5.5 million euros, the second tranche of funding for the 2025 Jubilee, arrives in the Viterbo area, making it possible to carry out works of fundamental importance.

For the city of Viterbo, these funds are added to those already identified in June last year intended for the construction of the new junction that will connect the Almirante ring road with the Santa Barbara district for 4 million euros, the restoration of the civic walls and the completion of the former papal stables in Piazza Sallupara and the redevelopment of the adjacent areas for 2.5 million euros, the restoration and preparation of the cultural center of the former church of Sant’Orsola for 1.5 million euros, the completion and redevelopment of the shelter of Piazza del Sacrario and adjacent areas for 1.5 million euros, and finally the restoration and enhancement of the former church of Santa Maria delle Fortezze for 0.5 million euros.

Added to these projects is a further 1.5 million euros intended to improve the road network of the northern quadrant of the city of Viterbo.

The national government led by Giorgia Meloni, thanks to the work and constant attention of the Hon. Rotelli, looks to Tuscia and is the protagonist of the transformation and redevelopment of our territory with concrete resources and projects.

That protagonism that we would also like to see around Palazzo dei Priori and which, to date, we have not even glimpsed.

“The official allocation of a further 5.5 million euros for the province of Viterbo has finally arrived.
These are funds allocated by the Jubilee 2025 control room which are added to the substantial allocation already announced in June last year.
If this objective has been achieved we owe it to the tenacity of the Honorable Rotelli who has never lost sight of the objective in recent months.

Of the 5.5 million euros announced yesterday, 1.5 million will arrive in VITERBO to improve the road system in the northern quadrant of the city where traffic has now reached unsustainable levels.
All the financed interventions, supported by us with the Hon. Rotelli, want to improve the “quality of life” of citizens.

Among these, one of the most important is the construction of the new junction that will connect the Santa Barbara neighborhood and the Almirante ring road (for 4 million euros) which will affect the several thousand Viterbo residents who live in the most populous neighborhood of the city.

But we also remember the restoration of the civic walls and the completion of the former papal stables in Piazza Sallupara and the redevelopment of the adjacent areas for 2.5 million euros, the restoration and preparation of the cultural center of the former church of Sant’Orsola for 1 .5 million euros, the completion and redevelopment of the shelter in Piazza del Sacrario and the adjacent areas for 1.5 million euros, and finally the restoration and enhancement of the former church of Santa Maria delle Fortezze for 0.5 million euros EUR.

A great team effort but above all a great attention for our territory on the part of the Meloni government which we would like to thank in claiming the role of Brothers of Italy.
Now it is necessary to proceed with the construction according to the planned timetable and our commitment will continue to verify compliance with the deadlines and the best realization of the works.
