Soccer Altamura has its new leader: Cesare Rispoli

The new course of Soccer Altamura is starting to take shape which, after saying goodbye to Vincenzo Tassielli, has a new leader: Cerare Rispoli, fresh from a triumphal season on the bench of CMB Futsal, a team led to the Italian Cup final and promotion in Serie A.
Born in Amalfi, in the province of Salerno, almost fifty-two years ago, the new red and white coach began his career as a football player at the age of twenty in his hometown, and then moved first to Avezzano and then to Castellammare where he arrived the first satisfactions. At the beginning of the new millennium, however, the transfer to Matera, a team with which he won another championship, then the move to Modugno and the return to Matera. The last years of his career were spent in Basilicata, between Scanzano Jonico, Policoro and Bernalda, his last experience on the pitch.
Immediately afterwards, Rispoli, nicknamed “the emperor”, began his career on the bench, first at Viggiano and then at Berlanda, always between Serie B and Serie A2. Finally, at the beginning of last season the call came from CMB Futsal, the first female experience, and the rest is recent history. “Last year – declared the new coach from Altamura – I accepted the CMB proposal because I was intrigued by the world of women’s futsal and I must say that the results went beyond expectations. At the beginning of the season we were not among the most accredited teams but, thanks to an almost perfect season, we achieved promotion to Serie A. The only regret is having lost the Italian Cup final against Pero, the only defeat of the season.”

When asked why he accepted the court of Soccer Altamura, Cesare Rispoli replied: “I accepted the proposal because I have always esteemed the club, with a president who, like me, has had an important competitive past, even if in football, and therefore he knows the subject and a very determined vice president with clear ideas on what the objectives are. It is important to have managers who know the dynamics of a team and who are able to understand the situations on the pitch, in the locker rooms and how to work.”
The coach from Campania will not be alone: “With me in Altamura, the technical collaborator Nino Todaro will also arrive, who has followed me since I started my career on the bench. He too has an important history in football and his help was fundamental in achieving the results obtained.”
Therefore, the first declarations in red and white from Nino Todaro could not be missing: “I am happy and proud to be able to be alongside Mister Rispoli for this new experience with Soccer Altamura. We will certainly do our best to make this leap in quality and to be able to bring the team to the top category. Furthermore, for me it is a return to Altamura, having played there during my football career and therefore I hope to be able to give my best and achieve my goals with this beautiful club.”
We welcome Mister Cesare Rispoli and his collaborator Nino Todaro to the Soccer Altamura family.
Once the bench has been sorted out, now we need to sort out the team which will certainly be profoundly renewed.
