Pisa, 14 June 2024 – The season ended with a bang for the Under 12 team in the women’s sector! The Nerazzurre dominated and won the Città di Bettolle Tournament, thus confirming the progress already shown during the category championship thanks to the work of the instructors Laura Teodori and Paola D’Alascio and of the entire Nerazzurri women’s sector coordinated by Manager Stefano Colombo. The Under 12s of Pisa Sporting Club have already made their ambitions clear in the qualifying round which began with a clear success (2-0) with Polisportiva Borgorosso knocked out by goals from Anita Strambi and Ester Bonuccelli; in the second match against Carrarese Gialla, Pisa won by a narrow margin (1-0) thanks to Marta Sicilia’s goal and finally in the match against Carrarese Blu they achieved a precious draw (0-0) at the end of a balanced match and fought. The final of the Tournament once again pitted Pisa and Carrarese Blu against each other; the Nerazzurre were able to express their best football by finding the deserved advantage with Anita Strambi and then managing the score of 1-0 until the final whistle also thanks to the decisive interventions between the posts by Giulia Bracci, who was not surprisingly elected Best Goalkeeper of the Tournament. At the end lots of applause and a great celebration for the young Nerazzurri together with the families always present in the stands and always ready to cheer and support them from the first to the last match of the season.
