And an almost certainty: the new coach of Team Altamura will be one of the following four profiles: Daniele Di Donato, Andrea Dossena, Vincenzo Maiuri and Roberto Taurino. Di Donato, a 47-year-old native of Giulianova, has just returned from two and a half years spent in Latina. He got to know professional football as a coach in Arezzo, before moving to Vis Pesaro. Andrea Dossena – ten appearances for the senior national team in his career as a footballer – led Pro Vercelli in the last season until the Serie C playoffs. A category with which he had his first approach in the previous competitive year in Renate. A lot of experience for Vincenzo Maiuri, fresh from two years worth remembering at Sorrento: first the victory in the Serie D championship, then the salvation obtained without any particular worries of mind. Taurino, however, coached Monopoli in the final segment of the last Serie C championship: the final frame is that of salvation at the end of the double playout match against Virtus Francavilla. Di Donato, Dossena, Maiuri and Taurino: one of these should be the coach of the Murgian red and whites, on the occasion of their first historic experience in third-series Italian football. The Altamura management, among others, also spoke with Marco Marchionni, ex Foggia and Potenza, and Ivan Tisci, ex Cerignola, but in both cases the spark did not strike. The certainty at the moment concerns the sporting director: a two-year contract signed for Andrea Grammatica, who has handled the Ravenna transfer market for the last three seasons. He is already working for Team Altamura, which – we remind you – will start again without Nicola Loiodice. Meanwhile, an important joint press conference between the Murgia management and the municipal administration has been scheduled for next Tuesday to take stock of the stadium issue. Finally, the pre-season retreat has been scheduled, scheduled from 15 July to 4 August: Alfedena, in the province of L’Aquila, has been chosen as the venue.
