Semi-final weekend for the Italian Football League: between Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th June the two matches will be staged which will decide who the contenders will be on 29th June at the “Benelli” stadium in Ravenna, in XLIII Italian Bowl.
A dejavu compared to 2023, with the same four protagonists: Panthers Parma, Guelfi Firenze, Dolphins Ancona and Skorpions Varese. But this time the Varese people are the ones who start as favorites after an unblemished season, which ended with 8 victories and not even a single defeat. Coach Nick Holt’s boys have a clear objective and at the same time they know that losing now would mean throwing away the good things done throughout the season.
The appointment for the Skorpions is for Saturday 15 June (5.30 pm) at the “Franco Ossola” against the Parma Panthers. Last year the Emilians managed to beat the Grigiorossi and then went on to win the title. This time it is Ryan Griffin and his teammates who have the home advantage and will try not to miss the opportunity.
In the championship against the Panthers it was not a simple challenge: only in the final did the Skorpions manage to overturn the result and take home the victory (read here). Also in this case we expect a balanced challenge based on details to get to the most important event of the season.
