The Educational Service of the Municipality of Piacenza communicates that the applications for registration to the school lunch service for the year 2024-2025 they can be sent starting from Tuesday 18 June and until 2 September. The school catering service is a service on individual demand, which is organized by the Municipality – in collaboration with the contracting company and with the educational institutions – based on the needs of the nursery school sections, full-time primary school classes and modules for which one or more afternoon returns are foreseen, as well as extended-term classes of lower secondary schools. The service encourages the attendance of pupils in full-time classes in schools, contributes to the dissemination of nutritional education and the promotion of health, providing nutritionally correct menus and is proposed as an educational aid in terms of the correct consumption of food, sharing and conviviality, respect for different eating styles.
To access the service, the parent/guardian in charge of the payments must register online on the website of the Municipality of Piacenza. The portal can be reached from the address Piacenza.ecivis.it or from the pages of the Municipality of Piacenza website www.comune.piacenza.it relating to the lunch service. For those registering for the first time and for those who must renew the application by updating the documentation for the concessions to the service, it is necessary to complete the registration application at the address Piacenza.ecivis.it by logging in with Spid credentials.
