UNITALSI Fano, listening to the voice of the Holy Father who intensely invites us to pray for peace, has embraced the initiative of the “Itinerant Rosary” or the Holy Rosary recited every Saturday, for the entire Marian month, in some retirement homes and protected institutions of the city. Meditations on the Mysteries of Joy with the thoughts and prayers of Pope Francis and some food for thought taken from the catechesis of Don Fabio Rosini, and the Marian songs known to all. This initiative is intended to be our response to the invitation of the Pope who insistently invites Christians to take this crown back into their hands. Our Lady also asked it many times during her apparitions, especially to children, such as in Fatima and Lourdes, asking them to pray for the conversion of sinners and the reparation of sins, the main cause of the outbreaks of war. The recitation of the Rosary is also recommended by the Pope for the healing of illnesses and the return to a more intense life of faith which pushes Christians to greater frequency of religious practices, to receive the sacraments and to participate more actively in the festive liturgies. Today, births are decreasing, children are not baptized and do not follow a Christian life program. Those who arrive at the Sacrament of Confirmation abandon their journey of faith shortly after. In the episode of the discovery of Jesus in the Temple, Mary and Joseph realized that they had lost Jesus and for three days, anguishedly, day and night, they searched for him because they could not live without him. How many people have lost Jesus, but no one does everything possible to find him. They stay away, without feeling the need for his presence and his friendship. Let the Rosary become our daily prayer again: only in this way will we find the courage to welcome the message of salvation. Before leaving this world Jesus said to the Apostles and all believers: “I am always with you until the end of time because without me you can do nothing”.
