SALT, motorway concessionaire for the A15 Parma – La Spezia section, informs that from Monday 17 June to Friday 21 June, from 9.00pm to 5.00am, the Pontremoli-Berceto section will be closed in both directions. During this time slot, motorway users must exit at the Pontremoli toll booth, in the direction of Parma, and at the Berceto toll booth, in the direction of La Spezia. The route will reopen regularly, without time limitations, starting from 05:00 on Friday 21 June.

The closure is necessary to carry out the demolition work on the metal arches supporting the deck of the Gravagna viaduct, as part of the important modernization works of the work that SALT is carrying out to improve the practicability and safety of the A15 Parma motorway – La Spezia, adapting it to the most stringent safety standards.

In particular, the closures on Monday 17th and Tuesday 18th June will be preparatory to the execution of the demolition works of the three metal arches that support the decks of the Northern carriageway. The demolitions will take place on the evenings of Wednesday 19th and Thursday 20th June. In the event of unfavorable weather conditions, the work schedule may undergo changes which will be promptly communicated by the dealership. The daily reopening of the section will take place at the end of the structural safety checks which will be carried out daily by the technicians of the SALT concessionaire and by SINA technicians. and Sacertis.

In order to provide assistance to motorway users on ordinary roads, Itinera, the ASTM Group company carrying out the works, will employ some staff at strategic points on secondary roads (municipal, provincial and state roads) who will provide all the useful information on alternative routes. Furthermore, on the nights of 19 and 20 June, the concessionaire will set up two mobile units, the first at the entrance to the Valico Tunnel on the southern carriageway and the second at the entrance to the Cucchero Tunnel on the northern carriageway.

Real-time traffic information is always available on the website www.salt.it and on the dealership’s Telegram and WhatsApp channels.
