UIL School and UIL Healthcare Double disgrace from our President. Healthcare and school staff deserve attention. Healthcare and School have the task of protecting inalienable rights”. A double lack of attention, that of President Fugatti with respect to the world of healthcare and schools. It is necessary to remember that healthcare and education are inalienable rights of citizens: using economic resources on these sectors is not an expense, it is an investment. The only true bond aimed at our future. Double disgrace, they said. We learned from the media about the provincial meeting for the contractual renewal of the public sector employment 2025-2027; Unfortunately, not all category representatives were invited to that meeting.
Once again, Mamma Provincia has demonstrated that for some she is only a Stepmother. And the most careless. Healthcare and school have been completely forgotten. Astonishment has been replaced by anger, which is why we are talking about a double disgrace, knowing (at least we who actually represent workers) that both for healthcare and school staff they have still opened the 22-24 contract. There is a lack of resources, a lack of contractual agreements, the entire regulatory part is missing.
The School still lacks the attributions of horizontal career progressions for all provincial staff (but weren’t we an autonomous province? Shouldn’t we have done better than the State?); the entire economic contract renewal for the teachers of the state school is missing.
The Healthcare sector lacks resources for: the professional system, the increase in nursing allowances, the protection of the patient and all the allowances provided for by article 79 of the previous contract. It is then necessary to provide for an increase for ready availability and additional hourly services. And finally, last but not least, a specific allowance was requested for the midwives who are part of the team leader.
In vigorously protesting this double oversight, between yesterday and today UIL Sanità and UIL Scuola wrote to the President: request for a timely convocation in order to bring to Fugatti’s attention the various problems that await to be addressed and resolved.
In the absence of direct discussion with the highest political decision-maker, it is unlikely that the UIL representatives of healthcare and school personnel will be able to sit at a table for a technical-political protocol.
