TARQUINIA – The Giulivi per Tarquinia committee warns citizens in case of victory of the opponent Francesco Sposetti.
«It is now clear – says Alessandro Giulivi in unison with his supporters – the coalition led by Francesco Sposetti, in the event of election, will be clearly influenced by the presence of the centre-left parties which contributed significantly to the result obtained in the first round. Sposetti’s work, presented as civic and then “corrected” halfway, will inevitably be conditioned by the continuous requests of Conte’s party which will inevitably swamp the government machine.”
«Among the first impositions of the 5 Star Movement towards Sposetti – they say from the Giulivi per Tarquinia committee – there will certainly be that of preventing in every way the construction of the last stretch of the Orte-Civitavecchia. In recent days, after the choice of the Magenta route to complete the Tarquinia-Civitavecchia section, the 5 Star Movement itself has widely criticized the government decision, proposing a hybrid “alternative” between the Viola route and the Magenta route”.
«With the preliminary phase now concluded by Anas and the project moving forward quickly – continues the committee – the 5 Star Movement therefore risks blocking the construction of the last section, precisely at the decisive moment. Is this what the citizens of Tarquinia want? It should be remembered that the work involves a total investment of 619 million euros and represents a fundamental infrastructure for the development of our territory. Not only Tarquinia, but the whole of Tuscia has been waiting for years for the completion of a road that will directly and quickly connect our Municipality with strategic points such as Orte, Terni and Ancona”.
«The defense of the territory by the Giulivi administration – concludes the committee – combines perfectly with this and other development projects of the city, which will be implemented quickly thanks also to the chain of our coalition with the centre-right parties starting from the European Parliament and cross all levels of politics between the government, the Lazio Region and the Province of Viterbo.”
