The mayor of Aprilia Lanfranco Principi requested and obtained a meeting today with the top management of Acqualatina Spa at the offices in Piazza Roma. The meeting took place following the unpleasant situation that arose with the extension of the water outage scheduled for yesterday.
The administration pointed out to the company’s management how this type of intervention, especially when it goes beyond the established times, creates damage and inconvenience to citizens, to commercial and productive activities and, in this specific case, to schools. We therefore required planning as precise as possible for future interventions.
The body is aware of the fact that important works will be necessary so that the service for the City of Aprilia can improve and that these works will lead to moments of interruption of the service, however it believes it is essential that these are part of a program shared with the city and that it is possible warn citizens in good time, without substantial changes to the scheduled times and days.

I don’t remember this form of dialogue previously. There won’t be a sudden miracle, but I have clearly represented to them the issues that the city has been pursuing for too long and I trust that the message has arrived. From the President and the CEO, I received reassurances about the future and I certainly understood the willingness to engage in a discussion that has never existed until now. Episodes like yesterday’s should never happen again.”
