BUSTO ARSIZIO – There are 13 convictions (one defendant acquitted) in the trial for criminal association aimed at trafficking and dealing drugs between Busto Arsizio and Milan which in December 2023 led to 22 arrests. At the center of the investigation, coordinated by the Milan DDA public prosecutor Stefano Amendola and by the public prosecutor of Busto Arsizio Ciro Caramore, a Albanian family clan.
Double murder in Canegrate
Convictions obtained they range from 4 years and 6 months to 15 years. Among those involved was also the brother of one of the victims of the ambush that occurred in Canegrate in 2016 where two cousins aged 24 and 27 were chased and killed. The investigative activity was born from the arrest of a citizen in flagrante delicto Albanian man found in possession of 110 doses of cocainefor a total weight of 94.2 grams, and the sum of 11,950 euros, carried out by the soldiers of the Busto Arsizio Company in June 2020.
Business for 3 million euros
The subsequent activities, carried out through both traditional and technical investigations, as well as allowing the reconstruction of a dense network of pushers operating in the areas of lower Varesotto and the Milanese hinterlandmade it possible to reveal the existence of the criminal association capable of moving and retailing significant quantities of narcotic substances.
During the operation, all of them were seized 20 kilograms of cocaine, 10 of heroin, 81 kilos of hashish and cash sums of 453 thousand euros, which would have yielded approximately 3 million euros on the market.
