CERIGNOLA TURNS BLUE WITH “ITALY IN THE SQUARE”

MAXI SCREEN AND FOOD STANDS IN PIAZZA DUOMO

The Municipality of Cerignola organizes “Italia in Piazza”: three evenings dedicated to community viewing of the Azzurri’s matches at the European football championships.

On 15, 20 and 24 June, starting from 9.00 pm, the splendid Piazza Duomo will be transformed into an arena for fans thanks to the setting up of a giant screen. And, in addition to watching the matches, it will be possible to taste a selection of local specialties at the food and wine stands set up for the occasion.

The initiative is by the councilor for Productive Activities Sergio Cialdella, assisted by the municipal councilor Francesco Sorbo, and will offer football enthusiasts from Cerignola the opportunity to experience the emotions of the national team matches together.

The event also includes activities and entertainment that will guarantee fun even for those who are not football fans and want to spend a nice evening with family and friends.

“We imagine a crowded and lively square, in which to create unforgettable collective experiences and memories with the backdrop of our historical and identity heritage, such as the Cathedral: the heart of our community”, comments city councilor Francesco Sorbo.

The councilor for Productive Activities Sergio Cialdella declares: “Con Italy in the Square we want to encourage the aggregation of our community and the sharing of emotions that only sport can offer. We invite everyone to participate to support our national football team together and enjoy three wonderful evenings of conviviality.”
