The ten SMEs of the provinces of Southern Lombardy are focusing on Transition 5.0, looking at the project lines of the Pnrr and placing ESG criteria among the key points, protagonists today in Brescia of the third stage of the 2024 edition of “Winning Companies”, the dedicated Intesa Sanpaolo program to identify small and medium-sized enterprises that represent an example of entrepreneurial excellence and Made in Italy.
As mentioned, among the selection parameters, Intesa Sanpaolo places the actions aimed at the PNRR and Transition 5.0 project lines at the centre. The 150 Winning Companies of the 2024 edition were selected for having activated projects or achieved significant results in economic value and social impact, innovation and research, digital and ecological transition, export and internationalisation, generational transition and dimensional consolidation, training and welfare. More generally, the adoption of ESG criteria, growth projects, the impact on the communities and territories in which they operate, contributing to creating value for the local economy, employment and well-being of people are the guidelines from which the Winning companies of Intesa Sanpaolo.
“The ten companies that we are awarding today are the expression of the quality of Made in Italy and positive examples for the Lombardy production system, as they create economic and social development for the community. In 2023 we paid to the businesses and families of the Southern Lombardy Regional Directorate approximately 1.2 billion euros. Since the launch of the initiatives dedicated to sustainable investments and in the circular economy, we have already provided 335 million euros to companies in these territories, confirming our commitment to helping them seize these opportunities, in favor of stable and inclusive growth” declared Marco Franco Nava, Intesa Sanpaolo Lombardy South regional director.
