Forus Italia has requested the Municipality of Cremona to divide the executive project into functional sections (lots) for the redevelopment and expansion of the municipal sports swimming centre. The aim, we read in the resolution that accepts the request, is “to ensure rapid execution of the works”.
The note from the sports club that took over Sport Management in the Project Financing aimed at the renovation of a large part of the facility is dated 4 June. In the first lot the contract will primarily concern the waterproofing of the roofs; then they will be carried out the construction works foreseen in the project eexecutive; finally, in temporal order, sanitary and thermal. Finally, fsupply and installation of– sports flooring.
The works on the swimming complex have a value of 3 million and 150 thousand euros and must be completed within 15 months of starting. Among the works included, also the renovation of the Olympic changing rooms not initially included in the original project. The convertible is only intended for summer use, as has been the case for years; the agreement remains for 25 years (from 2017) and the tariffs for users, controlled thanks to the management account contribution of the Municipality, cannot be increased until 13 years after the start of the agreement, as established in the project financing.
