Your IT infrastructure will be more secure.
But at the same time, Tua buses and trains will be the ones to convey awareness messages on how to avoid the IT risks that occur on the web every day.

Tua has signed, at the company headquarters in Pescara, a collaboration protocol with the police for the prevention of cyber crimes to protect its IT infrastructure.

This is the first protocol of this kind in Abruzzo. The president of Tua, Gabriele De Angelis, the deputy commissioner of police, Pasquale Sorgonà, and the director of deputy commissioner Elisabetta Narciso, head of the Abruzzo cyber security operations center, participated in the signing of the collaboration agreement. The protocol is synonymous with a continuous exchange between the Abruzzo transport company and the Abruzzo cyber security operations center; in fact, it provides for the commitment to adopt intervention procedures and a constant exchange of information for the protection of Tua’s digital infrastructure and, in fact, establishes the start of an information and operational synergy between Cosc Abruzzo and the company regional transport.

«We are particularly pleased to be able to have an institutional partner of the caliber of the police to support such a delicate sector as the IT sector», comments De Angelis, «this company also has a social value for the community. Our means become a potential multiplier of contacts and institutional messages from the police capable of potentially reaching thousands of people every day and, therefore, avoiding many critical situations of which the daily news is full”.

In fact, on the displays inside the Tua buses and trains, as well as in the ticket offices present in the regional territory, a series of films made by the police will be shown on how to protect yourself from the pitfalls of phishing, from the scams of false investments from trading on line and how to preserve the privacy of your accounts. «We aim to effectively convey the culture of prevention, to raise awareness among users who use our transport services», concludes De Angelis, «and this territorial capillarity, which is intrinsic to the role of Tua, also allows us to carry out a educational, training and prevention role”.
