The big names in Italian music arrive in Asti: from Mr. Rain to Gigi D’Alessio, here is the line-up of the artists – Turin News

The 29th edition of Astimusica is ready to illuminate the summer evenings of Asti from 11 to 17 July. Piazza Alfieri will become the stage for a series of concerts which will see the participation of illustrious Italian artists such as Francesco De Gregori, Gigi d’Alessio, and Francesco Renga. This year, the festival moves to a larger location, a tangible sign of its growth and Asti’s growing ability to host large-caliber events.

Maurizio Rasero, mayor of Asti, expressed enthusiasm for this new edition: “The expansion of the festival in Piazza Alfieri symbolizes not only the growth of Astimusica, but also the cultural dynamism of our city.” Under the guidance of artistic director Massimo Cotto, the festival has expanded its scope to include artists of the caliber of Max Angioni, Nek, Mr. Rain, and the collaboration between VillaBanks and El Matador. Cotto commented: “To keep Astimusica young and relevant, it is essential to continually innovate, without resting on the laurels of past success.”

The festival will begin each evening at 9pm, offering the public a choice of seating and parterres. Tickets are already available for purchase online and in authorized sales points: Astimusica 2024 complete programme
