Noli, illegal villa on the hill. The Supreme Court confirms. It is now municipal property. 2/Two prestigious homes for sale, Arte Savona cashes

From Noli, as is logical, not only ‘bad’ news. One concerns Arte Savona which has put two prestigious apartments in the city center up for sale to the highest bidder. The second is that the Court of Cassation has ruled that a villa (illegal with ruling), built on a hill, be assigned to the real estate assets of the Municipality.

The good news for the Municipality and the council Respect at the end of a long dispute. After three degrees of judgment. The Court of Cassation has definitively confirmed that a villa built on a hill, in the Groppello area, on the ridge on the Spotorno side, was built illegally and cannot access any building amnesty. The building, empty, was built between 2009 and 2019. In addition to the construction company, it saw a plumbing craftsman from Nole at work. And needless to say, it seems that everyone was unaware of the inability to build and the absence of a building permit. The building is destined to become part of the municipal building stock. It remains to be seen what the final destination will be and whether it can be put up for sale. And it must therefore not be demolished. In fact, some state regulations have changed which prevent their demolition.

PRESS RELEASE: 440 THOUSAND EUROS FOR ARTE SAVONA FROM THE SALE OF TWO ECONOMICALLY EXPENSIVE PRESTIGIOUS ACCOMMODATIONS. COUNCILOR SCAJOLA: “IMMEDIATE REUSE FOR RECOVERY AND MAINTENANCE INTERVENTIONS”

GENOA. The regional council, upon proposal of the councilor for construction and housing policies Marco Scajolaauthorized the program for the sale of prestigious housing in Arte Savona and the related plan for the reuse of the related revenues agreed with the tenant unions.
The apartments considered valuable, as they have a minimum value per square meter higher than the established limit of 2,229.68 euros, are located in the Municipality of Noli. Arte Savona estimates revenues of around 440 thousand euros from their sale, funds that will be totally reinvested for a series of extraordinary maintenance interventions and recovery of vacant accommodation in the Municipality of Savona, since in that of Noli the Company does not own any other real estate units apart from those put up for sale. The two apartments are currently unused and are complex to manage and assign for possible tenants given the costs due to the rental area.

“Another strategic operation that will allow us to have fresh resources to reinvest immediately – declares the regional councilor Marco Scajola -. To guarantee concrete help to those in need, we considered it more useful to sell rather than conserve these two prestigious accommodations which are currently unused and too economically expensive for the Company or for possible assignees. This initiative adds to the 6.7 million euro sales and reuse of funds received plan, approved at the end of May. The Liguria Region, in this case together with Arte Savona, is working daily to find useful resources to improve its building stock and therefore meet the housing needs of users. With the funds obtained from this plan we will continue the important housing recovery and maintenance program that we are carrying out throughout the Savona area”.

The accommodations in question are located in a single building, in via IV Novembre, on the second and third floors respectively. The building has, overall, four floors above ground and a basement where there are two cellars belonging to the two apartments.
“The two homes will be available on the market in July through a public auction notice – adds the sole director of Arte Savona Alessandro Revello -. We thank the regional offices for the speed shown in the approval and we hope to soon have important new resources available from these sales to allocate them to the recovery and maintenance of public residential housing”.
