Princes Industrie Alimentari announces one thousand hirings in Foggia – News

With the imminent start of the tomato season in Southern Italy, Princes Industrie Alimentari, the company that manages the largest tomato processing plant in Europe in Puglia, has started a hiring campaign for around a thousand resources. Starting from the end of July, new hires with seasonal fixed-term contracts, linked to the duration of the campaign, will be integrated into the various operational areas, which include the production lines, agronomic departments, logistics, production and quality control.

The new resources, explains the company, “will be used at the Foggia plant, in the Capitanata region, today the main tomato district in Southern Italy. This plant is considered one of the processing centers of excellence throughout the country for the presence of cutting-edge technologies and major quality certifications, but above all for the attention paid by Princes Industrie Alimentari to environmental, social and economic sustainability”.

The Foggia site, notes Princes Industrie Alimentari, represents a point of reference for farmers in Southern Italy, with an annual production capacity of up to 300 thousand tonnes of 100% ethical and 100% Apulian fresh tomatoes which, also thanks to a network of innovative intermodal transport for the sector, reaches the tables of consumers all over the world.

Throughout the year, Princes Industrie Alimentari has a workforce of over 400 employees, while, during the peak of the tomato season, the number of people involved in the plant’s activities exceeds 1,300 units.
