Goodbye to Tina Leonzi, a life dedicated to the dignity of the work of housewives

She’s dead Tina Leonzi. Born in Brescia on 19 September 1930, she dedicated her life to promoting the dignity of women’s work, inside and outside the home. The curriculum of Tina Leonzi, awarded the Gold medal in the 2010 Bulloni Awardis very long and full of important elements for the recognition of the role of women in the family and in society.

A life in motion, that of the journalist and writer from Brescia – born Santina Gallinari – who, from her Mompiano, has broadened her horizons, achieving results and recognition on a global level.

Tina Leonzi was also founding president and president-elect, from 1994 to 2000, of theUnica – Intercontinental Housewives Union – to also allow women from other continents, in particular from South America, to share the objectives of the Movement. From 1990 to 1994, you were a member of the Board of Directors of the ASM of Brescia, acting as vice-president and acting president in the last four months of your mandate.

Those who wish to send their greetings to Tina Leonzi will be able to go to the funeral home of the Domus Salutis nursing home in Brescia in via Lazzaretto 3, open for visits from 9am to 6pm.
