This year too everything is ready for the Nonsel Festival, the traditional festival of culture, musical shows, markets, food and wine kiosks, walks on nature trails, environmental and social initiatives and sporting events, which will liven up the banks of the Pordenone river from Friday 14 to Sunday 16 June 2024.

To frame a very rich series of events, the Pordenone Riviera, the Adam and Eve bridge, the Marcolin pier, the Flu Park and via della Santissima. Over 30 associations coordinated by ProPordenone and ProLoco Pordenone collaborated in the creation of this party which concludes Spring in Pordenone and introduces Summer. «A festival – as remembered by the president of ProPordenone Giuseppe Pedicini – which represents the memory of our city and which is held every year to celebrate the identity fusion of Pordenone with its Noncello river, origin of a community that has always carried its name ».

This is the program.

THURSDAY 14 JUNE FROM 6 PM the food kiosks will open in via della Santissima. At 9pm Alter Ego will perform an irresistible rock concert at Parco Flu.

Saturday 15 June the “Let’s clean the neighborhoods” initiative is back: after the meeting at 9.30 at Flu Park, the volunteers will distribute bibs, gloves and bags for collecting rubbish and will teach all participants how to correctly separate waste to raise their awareness of environmental issues. From 10am there will be readings for children, archery activities, workshops for the little ones and a puppet theater. The official opening of the celebrations will take place at 11.00 on the Adam and Eve Bridge with ribbon cutting and presentation of a fundraiser in favor of the Alvise Foundation of Fontanafredda and, at 6 pm, music from the 70s, 80s and 90s with I Detector. During the day, entertainment for children and chess for fans of all ages also in via della Santissima, while at 5pm in via Rivierasca Mauro and his group dances will go wild. At 5.30pm, near the Adam and Eve bridge, everyone with their noses in the air with the aerial dance of Desideria, while from 8.30pm at the Imbarcadero a beautiful evening of music with Dino and Nicola Congiu & Band for an evening “Not just Elvis ”.

DSunday 16 June will begin very soon with Alba in concert on the Noncello by the Fadiesis Musical Association. Departure is scheduled for 9am from the Adam and Eve Bridge for a free guided tour of the city with the Rotary Club and the Pordenone Turismo Consortium. Both a parade of vintage cars organized by the Ruote del Passato Association and a 20 km ride to discover the Noncello organized by FIAB Pordenone Aruotalibera, which will make inclusive e-bikes available, will start from Via della Santissima.

«There are numerous new features of this edition – explains the vice president of the ProLoco Nadia Lorenzon – One of these is the Friendship Pact between Pordenone and Portomaggiore (Ferrara) and, to celebrate it, on Sunday at 10 am in Piazza Duca d’Aosta a short ceremony at the Bersagliere stele, while at 10.30 in Piazzale Ellero a laurel wreath will be laid at the War Memorial by the Pordenone and Portomaggiore National Association of Bersaglieri, with a consequent parade of the feathered infantry fanfare in Corso Vittorio Emanuele. Subsequently in the Council room, the official twinning between the two sections of Bersaglieri will be held. Other new features are represented by the regional gathering of the FVG Campers and campers Federation near Noncello and the participation in the event of the Pro Loco of Chions and San Paolo di Morsano al Tagliamento”.

In the meantime, the festival will continue with a performance of dances and dances, a parade of vintage cars, workshops for children and archery activities. At the end of the three days, the musical show “Live Show!” will be held at 5pm at Flu Park. The Voodoo Devils” and, at 6pm at the Imbarcadero, the long-awaited and traditional concert by the Pordenone Philharmonic.

On the days of Saturday and Sunday at the Imbarcadero it will be possible for everyone to take short river excursions along a stretch of the Noncello aboard the Pontoon Boat (9.30/12.30 – 14.30/18.30); the arts and creativity market will be set up in via Rivierasca, as well as a car exhibition; in via della Santissima there will be the agri-food market, some stands where the voluntary and military associations present themselves and a giant chessboard organized by the San Gregorio Association. Furthermore, the exhibition “Ipogean Waters: postcards from Italian caves” will be held, curated by the Gruppo Speleo Collezionisti.

The program of this edition is very rich and extremely varied and offers everyone a tourist, social, environmental and cultural proposal of great value, thanks to the strong collaboration between the associations. Among all the initiatives, the activities of the Pontoon Boat stand out, which has already achieved great success among the students of the city schools involved in the guided tours by the Municipality, and the evocative Sunrise Concert on the Noncello, a fascinating musical experience. In short, there are countless reasons to stay in Pordenone during this weekend.”

On the occasion of the “Festa sul Nonsel” event which will be held from 14 to 16 June 2024, the following obligations, prohibitions and limitations have been established:

From 7 am on Friday 14 June to midnight on Sunday 16 June 2024, on the entire dirt car park in via delle Grazie (in front of the Al Lido restaurant), No passing And parking ban with removal. From 7 am on Saturday 15 June to midnight on Sunday 16 June, in via Riviera del Pordenone (between the Marcolin car park and the multi-storey car park behind the Court), in order to allow the positioning of the exhibition stands, the No passing and the parking ban with removal on both sides and throughout the area affected by the demonstration.

From 7 am on Saturday 15 June to midnight on Sunday 16 June, in order to access the multi-storey car park in via Riviera del Pordenone, the two-way traffic in derogation of the current one-way traffic rules. In this way it is possible to reach the underground car park also coming from Piazzale Giustiniano using the only lane adjacent to the car park itself, in the stretch of Via Riviera del Pordenone. Furthermore, when exiting Piazzale Giustiniano, both left and right exits are permitted.

From 8pm to midnight on Saturday 15 June 2024 and from 4.30am to 7.30am on Sunday 16 June, in order to allow the musical shows to take place at the Noncello pier, there are one-way traffic with mandatory straight direction in via Pola, for vehicles coming from the IV Novembre traffic light intersection (from the branch with the lane leading towards via Riviera del Pordenone), with obligatory direction towards Ponte De Marchi and viale delle Grazie; for vehicles coming from via delle Grazie, on the roundabout in front of the Hotel Santin access denied in Via Pola. For vehicles coming from via San Giuliano, the traffic stop is set up at the same roundabout compulsory direction law towards Viale Treviso; the same applies to vehicles coming from viale Treviso with an obligatory direction towards via San Giuliano. In via Pola, in the stretch between the branch that leads to via Riviera del Pordenone and the roundabout with via delle Grazie, there will be an obligation to have a maximum speed of 30 km/h.

Peremptory applies No passing on the Adam and Eve Bridge in via della Santissima for all vehicles, including those used by the organization of the event.
