Parma Clima is preparing to face the away match in Bologna with many question marks.
Last weekend’s matches against BBC Grosseto brought the fifth series won out of the six played but also left a long trail of injuries.

Among the pitchers, the most delicate situations are those of Erly Casanova and Andres Perez, both involved in the necessary recovery therapies this week.

The situation regarding the receivers is also quite complex. Mineo has started to force preparation but should remain rested, same fate for Monello who took to the field last Saturday after the hand injury suffered by Ascanio which worsened the situation of his knee. Fortunately Ascanio, the third catcher of the group, seems to have overcome his problems and should be available.

To date, Parma Clima (11-7) can boast slightly better overall averages than Frignani’s team (13-5). The Ducals have a better batting average (.297 vs. .272) and a lower earned run average on pitchers (2.74 vs. 3.06).
The Italian champions will show up for tomorrow’s and Saturday’s matches with some changes compared to the first leg matches. The Spanish Civit (1-0, 0.52) took the place of the community member Leon, released on Wednesday, as starting pitcher of the first match and his compatriot Fernandez took over the role of shortstop. The Bolognese battleship still has two visas available for the registration of foreign players which will be used before the start of the playoffs in August.
The matches between Bologna and Parma Clima will be played tomorrow (playball at 8.30pm) and Saturday (4.30pm and 8.30pm) on the diamond of the Falchi stadium.
