GIACCIANO WITH BARUCHELLA (Rovigo) – The pupils of the fifth class of the Baruchella primary school tried their hand at a research activity on their own country. As always accompanied by the teachers and the municipal public library “Ugo Grisetti”, organizer of the award, together with the Municipality, this year the children addressed the theme “From street to street”.
And it is precisely through the streets and squares of this municipality made up of three villages that the librarian and the teachers wanted to lead the children of class V by the hand, walking, running at breakneck speed or on bicycles as was done in the past, wandering far and wide. out with friends and classmates from one courtyard to another without the fear of road traffic or who knows what other threats to safety.
The elaborate product consists of an updated map of the territory drawn up by the municipal technician Evelyn Boscolo, a description of the 34 streets, the 3 squares and the square enriched by historical notes and information on the historical figures that fall within the toponymy. Teacher Lorenza also wrote a short report to talk about the experience of her students who each created a drawing of the place where they reside and a brief comment on it and all these documents enrich the file which becomes a sort of guide.
The presentation, held at the school on Wednesday 29 May, was attended by Agnese Rinaldi, municipal councilor who is part of the Library Committee, Elisa Stevanin in charge of the library and the volunteer teacher Gina Marcomini who carried out the research together with Loredana Bussoni and Chiara Lora.
