Bologna, 13 June 2024 – A 50-year-old Italian man was arrested by the Carabinieri of the Bologna mobile radio unit on charges of aggravated personal injury to have a thirty-year-old stabbedof Nigerian origin, in Piazza XX Settembre.
It all happened late in the morning Sundaywhen the military personnel rushed to the scene as a dispute had been reported with a knife between two people. When the carabinieri arrived in Piazza XX Settembre the two were Escaped, but they were immediately caught up and blocked. According to a first reconstruction of the police, the Italian had given in to buy drugs gage the thirty-year-old gave his cell phone, and then asked for it back.
When the victim refused to give it back to himthe fifty-year-old has unleashed a blow, wounding him in the back. The 118 health workers arrived on site and were able to to ascertain as the Italian had reported abrasions to the chin and a deep wound to the elbow, while the thirty-year-old was discharged with a prognosis of 20 days for a penetrating wound to the back.
The fifty-year-old was arrested on charges of aggravated personal injury and will have to appear before the judge for the validation hearing and direct judgment.
