A new “impossible mission” awaits Antonino Cannavacciuolo, Thursday 13th exclusively on Sky Uno And streaming only on NOW, a new episode of Nightmare Kitchens arrives, a Sky Original show produced by Endemol Shine Italy. This week, the three-starred chef comes to the rescue of the “Il Diavoletto” restaurant, in the province of Modena.

the tour of the worst cuisines in Italy continues

For the much-loved Cannavacciuolo, the tour continues among the worst cuisines in Italy, restaurants which, in terms of service, style and quality of food, are rejected by their customers and which, crushed under arguments, improvisation and bad management, now seem destined for closure. After meeting the restaurant managers and staff, Antonino sits at the table and experiences the customer’s experience firsthand: he tastes the dishes, evaluates the food and service, observes the work of the employees and then, based on the problems that have emerged, gives his advice, also providing advice for a new menu. The venue therefore undergoes a total make over which will give the location a completely new look and atmosphere, becoming more welcoming, functional and livable, customer-friendly. In a restaurant that judging from its appearance will have nothing to do with the previous one, the staff will be ready to start again and reopen the doors to consumers: with the passion for restarting and the strength of the advice received from the Chef, but also with the fundamental awareness of past mistakes.

In the next few weeks, the adventures of Kitchens from Nightmares will be in Tropea (Vibo Valentia) and Pavia.

“The Devil” at the center of the new episode

Just over 20 years ago, in Marano sul Panaro (Modena), the spouses Marino and Gabriella opened the restaurant “Il Diavoletto”. She is an expert pasta maker, and in her hands is the secret that, according to her intentions, she should make this restaurant special. A lot of time has passed since 2002, now their son Marcello is also at the helm of the kitchen. Marino and Gabriella would like to retire from work but they really can’t detach themselves from their “creature”, especially since together with Marcello there is his partner Lisa who the two ‘in-laws’ don’t see favorably: under an apparent tranquility, the The family lives in a perpetually tense and nervous climate, perhaps due precisely to the fact that Lisa arrived after Marcello’s divorce from his ex-wife. Yet she cares a lot about her family and the restaurant, so much so that it was she who called Antonino to try to save “Il Diavoletto”. Because the family quarrels and misunderstandings – and the new daughter-in-law’s ill-tolerance – are having repercussions on the restaurant, which is increasingly in crisis day by day: Antonino will have to lighten a menu based on fats and cream but above all he will be forced to stage ” a trick” to force everyone to tell the truth, once and for all.
