In the historic center of the Tramontana area, a clean-up of illegal writings and posters that appeared in recent days was carried out

historic center north of the Arno was smeared massively, with
illegal writings and postingsdefacing the walls of historic buildings, tower houses, shoulders on the Arno River and even the Gualandi arch, the municipal administration immediately gave a mandate to a specialized company to clean the walls”.
“Unfortunately – commented the Environment Councilor Giulia Gambini – the historic center of Pisa has experienced a sad awakening: at the hands of the usual uncivilized vandals,
facades of historic buildings and listed properties were heavily defacedcreating, in addition to the degradation right in the heart of our historic center, damage to walls and facades, with economic consequences that affect the entire city“.
“The Municipality’s response was immediate – added Gambini – confirming the desire to immediately cancel the abusive acts carried out by those who arrogantly, in total disregard for respect for the rules of civil coexistence, carries out this type of act anonymously, taking advantage of the night hours. The extraordinary cleaning work has a cost that is added to the ordinary cleaning costs, which burdens the Municipality and therefore the citizens of Pisa. As an Administration we have asked the competent authorities to launch an investigation to report those responsible“.
