This afternoon the meeting took place at Palazzo Zanca town Council on the Urban plan Of sustainable mobility of the municipality of Messina with skyrocketing tensions between the various majority and opposition groups. The meeting will be reconvened next Monday because the final vote was not reached in today’s session. Among those opposed to the PUMS is the Fratelli d’Italia group, which has three city councilors, who has already contested the plan passed in the council commission.
Young people: “there will be cycle paths even on the moon”
“In the coming years, the city will be further revolutionized in terms of traffic, cycle paths even on the moon, vast restricted traffic areas which you will no longer be able to enter and a pedestrian area (which we would certainly also like, but not as they conceived it) which will cover the entire longitudinal framework of the urban centre.
