TREVISO – Among the members there is also grandfather Mario, born in 1939, who will turn 85 in November. The “5 to 5” promises a dawn of movement and fun in a city that is unusually (for the time) not deserted. And after the ride, there’s breakfast.

The 5 at 5, reached the record of three thousand members

The edition is the eighth. The numbers are record-breaking: three thousand runners and walkers who on Friday 14 June will take part in the now traditional pre-dawn race conceived and managed by Salvatore Bettiol and the staff of the Mezza di Treviso. For “5 to 5” it’s a absolute record: never, not even before the pandemic, had we reached this level of participation. Among the members there is also the mayor Mario Conte. The departure will take place at 5 o’clock from the Bastione San Marco, on the walls. Path – 5.6 kilometers made safe by Ser volunteers – will develop in the heart of Old Towngoing from Borgo Cavour to Piazza dei Signorifrom the Fishmonger to the area of rivierefrom People’s Course to the Cathedraland then return to the starting point.

Breakfast on arrival

Upon arrival, participants will be welcomed by a large group breakfast, served by the Alpini of the “Città di Treviso” group, with coffee and croissants freshly baked. A nice wake up call before tackling the day’s commitments. Or to go back to bed to resume the interrupted sleep. Today, June 12th, is the last day for registration and tomorrow there will be collection of t-shirts at the Sportler in Silea.
