This afternoon Catania officially presented to the press the new coach Domenico Toscano, fresh from the championship dominated with Cesena. The Calabrian coach signed a two-year contract with an option for a third year and was rigid in answering about the recent past. Question from a journalist: was it Cesena that no longer trusted you or did you prefer other solutions? “I’m not looking back – he replied coldly, cutting things short – even if what was done in Cesena will remain in history. Now I want to think about what will be in Catania. I love challenges and this one is fascinating.
So on his new adventure: “I always look for new challenges and this is a fascinating challenge. For me this is an important day – said Toscano – I thank Catania for their trust. For me it is an honor and a burden to represent the club and the city. I promise a lot of hard work.
