On June 22nd the PalaExpo in Moncalieri will host the first edition of Rock Burger, the event created to celebrate ten years of the renowned Turin hamburger restaurant Rock Burger.
The project came to life thanks to the collaboration between Rock Burger and Fondazione Reverse, which with the production of Fabio and Alessio Boasi organizes the Sonic Park Stupinigi, Ritmika and Todays festivals.
Rock Burger Fest aims to become a permanent fixture on the city’s summer calendar, offering the public a full day of 360-degree entertainment.
Naturally we start from music, with a line up that celebrates rock by focusing on 5 Italian artists with an international scope: different genres united by a very high artistic quality. All bands will perform at Rock Burger Fest for their only date in Piedmont. Punkreas, Folkstone, Ufomammut, Tons and Cabrera will set the stage on fire for over 5 hours of live performances.
A true tribute to music that is well suited to the identity of Rock Burger, born from the minds of the three founders, Ronnie and Marlen Pizzo and Melany Gida, united by the desire to create a true temple of rock, combining their great passion for music to that for catering.
In addition to the bands, the stage will be animated by two DJ sets, to open the evening and for the aftershow.
Rock Burger Fest will not only be great live music but a real 360 degree entertainment experience. In fact, the Village area will be present, where the public will have the opportunity to visit over 90 linear meters of stands offering rock and metal music CDs and vinyls, vintage clothing, board games and objects. A real strictly rock-themed market, with more than ten stations.
Another unmissable opportunity will be to visit the Retgaming Area set up inside the PalaExpo. Vintage pinball machines and video games on more than 25 stations for a real dive into the atmosphere of the 80s. Finally, the Food & Beverage Area will naturally not be missing, an element of fundamental importance for Rock Burger Fest.
The aim is to bring to the Fest the very high standards to which the loyal burger restaurant public is accustomed, which has always used high quality local products for its menu: Rock Burger recently won the award for Best Food Entrepreneurial Project at European level and in 2023 the burger dedicated to AC/DC was judged the Best Burger in Italy, also winning the podium of the competition in Europe. The food selection will be curated by Rock Burger and Van Ver Burger, present with their own food truck in the dedicated area: both companies won the Best Italian Street Food award.
The quality will therefore be maximum, as will the variety, suitable for any taste and preference. The selection of beers will be curated by Beer In, a craft brewery from Biella, and Tripel B, a Turin brewery specializing in Belgian beers.
