COSENZA – Busy city council meeting in Cosenza for the service Café Alzheimer. There are two structures managed in the hamlet of Sant’Ippolito: one deals with people suffering from autism and the other is the Caffè Alzheimer people with dementia.

“Ours is not a protest but we came peacefully to the Municipality because today we would like the City Council to decide on the contractualization of the structure that we already have in use”, Mazzei declares to our microphones. “We were the beneficiaries because we competed on the local health network for the fees that provide health care for people suffering from dementia and autism. “We want to meet the mayor because for the umpteenth time the provision does not go to the City Council and say that we need the contract to pay for care for our guests”, declares the association. From next Monday we will be forced to suspend activities. We are here peacefully to talk to the mayor and ask that the resolution be put to the vote.”
Mayor Caruso, before the city council, reassured that by the end of the month the resolution on entrusting the structure to ‘Il Mioblu Ets’ which had the regional authorization to create the autism center, will be brought to the City Council and approved .
