From 1st to 31st July the 6th edition of. will be held in the park of Villa Fabbricotti Slightlya literary review organized by the Municipality of Livorno, in collaboration with the Cooperativa Itinera, Il Chioschino di Filippo Brandolini, the Feltrinelli bookshop in Livorno and with the support of the Livorno Foundation.

The meetings will take place at 7pm at Il Chioschino di Filippo Brandolini on the stage surrounded by the greenery of the splendid Villa, home to the Labronica FD Guerrazzi Library, the center of the Livorno library system.

Valerio Magrelli And Marco Corbi

Master’s lesson dedicated to Giorgio Caproni

Born in Livorno in 1912 and moved first to Genoa and then to Rome, Giorgio Caproni he was a partisan, a primary school teacher, a translator from French and, in common with Magrelli and Corbi, a poet.
In the reading proposal dedicated to him, the desire to transmit contemporary poetry becomes the pretext to provide a clear analysis of what one of his first critics, Carlo Bo, defined as “the poet of the sun, of the light and of the sea”.

ORGANIC
Valerio Magrelli he is a poet, writer, translator and literary critic. Born in Rome in 1957, he is now full professor of French Literature at Roma Tre University. He was awarded the title of Officer of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic in 2005 by the President of the Republic Carlo Azeglio Ciampi and is considered one of the leading figures in the panorama of contemporary Italian poetry for his ability to approach and excite the general public to the language in verse.
Marco Corbi, born in 1968, was born in Livorno, the city where he still lives and works. Trained at the Carver School, he writes poems and short stories published in anthologies and literary magazines.
