GREEK’S TOWER – “That scum didn’t even bother to stop to help and even risked running over a girl.” This is the gist of the report sent by residents of a neighborhood in Torre del Greco to deputy Francesco Emilio Borrelli after the death of the cat Lulù, a stray adopted by the neighborhood who died after being hit last night.
The poor cat was crossing when a car at full speed hit her, killing her: “Her name was Lulù – they say – and she was a stray adopted by the neighbourhood. Everyone knew her and fed her. As can be seen from the video, the girl from the pub, who kindly provided us with the images so we could go and file a complaint, also attempted to stop the car by raising her hand, risking being injured herself: obviously, the human scum she didn’t even bother to brake and help the cat.”
“As you can see from the images – writes Borrelli – that criminal was going very fast, as were the cars that preceded him, on a road that was, among other things, quite narrow. They run further and further, contemptuous of danger and the lives of others. There could have been a child there: enough is enough, we need to stop them.”
