Florence – An award for contemporary architecture, with particular attention to its social function, in which the whole of society participates and in which it represents itself by designing its own cities and its own territory, with the aim of promoting a better quality of life.
Thursday 13 June at 11.30am at the Palazzina Reale in Piazza Stazione 50 The press conference to present the winners of the Tuscany Architecture Award 2024 competition and the preview of the exhibition which will be open until June 21st will be held in Florence.
The president of the Tuscany Regional Council spoke at the meeting with journalists; the councilor of the Order of Architects of Florence, Giorgio Cerrai; the president of the Organizing Committee, Tommaso Barni; the juror, Michel Carlana and ANCE vice-president Vincenzo Di Nardo.
The six winning projects of the fourth edition of the PAT they showed themselves to be fully immersed in the request for the ability to interpret the context, the social functionality of the works created, the construction quality and environmental responsibility, key parameters of the evaluation.
The awards ceremony is also scheduled for tomorrow at the Royal Palace at 5.30pmwhen it will also be inaugurated exhibition of projects winners, mentioned and selected.
