The municipal council of Castellammare di Stabia is repopulated. After two years of commissionership, the council chamber returns to being a place of democracy.
Many faces compared to the last council meeting and very few confirmations.
The elected mayor Luigi Vicinanza can count on a larger majority, having received almost 66% of preferences and therefore going beyond the simple majority bonus. Therefore the centre-left can count on 16 councillors, while the opposition has 8 seats including the one assigned to mayoral candidate Mario D’Apuzzo.
