The body of a 39-year-old woman, Giusy Levacovich, was found in a gypsy camp in Buggiano, (Pistoia): feminicide cannot be ruled out.
The corpse of a woman 39 years old, Giusy Levacovich, was found today in a nomad camp in Buggiano (Pistoia). The death at the moment appears to have unclear contours and it cannot be ruled out that it could be a feminicide.
On the dynamics and on the cause the police are investigating the death, even if it seems that the death occurred due to strangulation. But, while awaiting more precise information, the hypothesis of a suicide on the part of the investigators is still being kept open.
According to what emerged during the evening, the woman’s partner, who was nowhere to be found for almost ten hours, spontaneously showed up at the police station, knowing that he was wanted.

The victim was part of a Roma community and was found in prefabricated house where he lived and which is part of a nucleus of similar modules installed for residential use. The police are looking witnesses and people informed about the facts. The magistrate on duty went to the scene. The affair is causing some tension in the Romani community of the camp who have settled in Buggiano for years.
