Imu and Tari, two branches available to consumer associations

The Municipality of Cisterna has signed a memorandum of understanding with consumer associations, including Adiconsum Latina Aps, Adoc, Assoconfam, Codacons Lazio, Codici, Consumatori Solidali Lazio, Federconsumatori Lazio, FEDICONS, Konsumer Latina, MDS-Movimento Difesa del Cittadino and UGCONS.

The consumer associations will have two dedicated counters at their disposal, one at the Imu Office and the other at the Tari Office, every Wednesday from 9 am to 12 pm (alternating Wednesdays between Imu and Tari) to obtain information, complaints variation, self-defense requests, for the assistance of its members.

«The signing of this protocol is a significant result for our Administration due to the high level of support found among consumer associations which carry out an important action for the protection of the rights and interests of taxpayers, supporting them in tax disputes, assessments and appeals – they have declared the councilor for taxes Maria Innamorato, the councilor for commerce and productive activities Marco Capuzzo and the delegate for associations Maria Renè Carturan -. The protocol has a purely social purpose as it is aimed at the weakest sections of the citizens of our community.”

Article 2 of the protocol regulates that “the initiative has a prevalent social purpose” and that “only practices relating to disabled civilians, pensioners and families with ISEE up to €9,300.00 (group of 1-2 members) can be processed; up to €15,000.00 (3-4 members); up to 20,000.00 (group of more than 4 members)”.
