Ancona, 10 June 2024 – After the European elections finished late at night, today at 2pm they started operations for validating votes and of preferences as regards the administrative elections match, also in the Marche.

Where the vote was taken
In Marcheout of the 225 total Municipalities, as many as 148 Municipalities were called to the polls also to renew their mayors and municipal councils.
Where the ballot could take place
As required by the electoral law, in the provincial capitals (Ascoli Piceno, Pesaro And Urbino) and in municipalities with a population exceeding 15 thousand inhabitants (Fano, Osimo, Recanati And Power Picena) the possibility is foreseen run-off round if the candidates do not obtain an absolute majority of valid votes (at least 50 percent plus one).
Ballots which will be held on the days of Sunday 23 (from 7am to 11pm) e Monday 24 June (from 7am to 3pm): the two mayoral candidates who obtained the most preferences will have access and a simple majority will be sufficient to be proclaimed the tricolor band of the city. In that case, a simple majority will be sufficient to be proclaimed mayor.
