“The results achieved by the Democratic Party in these European elections are extraordinary. First party in Puglia (something that has never happened in history), primacy also in the Bat and in cities like Barletta which see us in opposition. These are incredible numbers, in some ways unexpected and which respond to a name: that of Antonio Decaro”. Thus the regional councilor of the Democratic Party, Filippo Caracciolo.

“One fact in particular – states Caracciolo – emerges forcefully and clearly from the polls: the Democratic Party is the party of administrators. Without representative figures of the territories such as Michele Emiliano, Antonio Decaro, Vincenzo De Luca, Stefano Bonaccini, Giorgio Gori, Dario Nardella, Matteo Ricci, Alessandro Zan, Nicola Zingaretti and Raffaele Topo (to name only the most supported) this party would have achieved a poor result. I dare to imagine what would happen if these administrators united to found their own movement moreover, consensus can only be obtained by working in contact with one’s community on a daily basis. Everything else is fantasy, empty and good words just to participate in some talk show”.

“Of the many beautiful numbers of these European elections, one in particular makes me proud: that of the province of Barletta-Andria-Trani. Our small territory – highlights the regional councilor – once again confirms itself as an important reservoir of consensus for the Democratic Party. 31,222 preferences collected by Antonio Decaro represent the third highest figure in the entire Puglia region, an extraordinary result when compared to the size of the other Apulian provinces”.

“Even in this case, the contribution of the administrators was decisive. The team work coordinated by the provincial secretariat led by Lorenzo Marchio Rossi featured mayors such as Giovanna Bruno, Bernardo Lodispoto, Angelantonio Angarano, Arianna Camporeale and Amedeo Bottaro. To all of them my thanks go, just as my thanks go to all the administrators of this territory and of course to the many voters who intended to place their trust in our proposal. The result obtained – concludes Caracciolo – represents the strongest incentive for all of us to continue work in the best way to serve the community”
