A head-to-head with Angelo Ciocca, her party mate, was exhausting but ended with the overtaking in the middle of the night and a third place on the list which ensured her a possible re-election. In front of her only the unattainable General Vannacci and Silvia Sardone.
Knowing how it will go will depend on Vannacci’s choices, who will have to opt for election in one of the constituencies in which he presented himself, and on how many MEPs his party will be able to elect based on the system of calculating the remainders: “One thing is certain . I’ll go to sleep when I know if I’m elected or not. In the meantime, I thank everyone who voted for me.”
