Viterbo – We receive and publish – On 22 June, in the Quercia community, the Ceis “San Crispino” of Viterbo holds the international day against the abuse and illicit trafficking of drugs.
The theme indicated by the United Nations this year – Office on Drugs and Crime – is the following: The evidence is clear: invest in prevention (The evidence is clear: investing in prevention).
On the occasion of June 22nd the Graduation party and other initiatives of an aggregative, sporting and cultural nature will take place.
“Graduation” is the moment in which a person, who has completed a specific path and program at CEIS, receives formal and public recognition which in some way rehabilitates or confirms his return to society.
In the morning the first CEIS karate trophy will take place, as well as the exam for some kids from the community to move up to the higher belt. Maestro Affetati and the competitive boys from the Kanseikan school of Orvieto will be present, who, together with the athletes of the community, will compete in a fight that aims to symbolize the fight against drug abuse and trafficking.
This is the 41st graduation that the Ceis celebrates in its long life, and it will take place during a mass officiated at 4pm by the bishop of Viterbo Orazio Francesco Piazza.
At the end of the mass, a balloon will be sent, as a symbol of elevation, freedom and the search for different perspectives, and a wish for a “good life” to the children who will leave the community.
