Elio Guadagno’s record in Ottati

Election Sunday saw the formalization of ten new first citizens in various small municipalities in the province of Salerno. With a single candidate running in each of these municipalities, the election was tied to the achievement of quorum of 40% of those entitled to vote, with at least 50% of valid ballots. The first to reach the finish line was Elio Guadagno, confirmed as mayor of Octati already on Saturday evening. Guadagno reached the quorum quickly, becoming one of the fastest winners in Italy.
