Pd is the first party in Faenza, almost 40% of the votes, followed by Brothers of Italy (which confirms the numbers of the 2022 policies in our city). But one of the fastest growing parties is that of abstention. A party that is growing and seeing its non-voters increase by 3,531. This is the number of citizens who, compared to the European elections five years ago, did not go to vote. If it were represented numerically, it would be the third party in the city with 13.87%. In Faenza the turnout stood at 56.03% (25,449 voters) almost ten percentage points less than in 2019, when 64.50% of voters went to vote (at the time 28,980 people from Faenza went to the polls).

Overall, in the province of Ravenna, 58.09% of voters voted. The Democratic Party reaches 38.11% and Brothers of Italy at 27.18%, the 5 Star Movement third party just above 7%.

Pd and Fratelli d’Italia are doing well, the League is collapsing compared to 5 years ago

The Democratic Party confirms itself as the first party in the city with the 38.84% (9,628 votes), closely followed by Fratelli d’Italia with 25.29% (6,269 votes). The Dems see their percentage of approval increase, which stopped at 34.78% five years ago, but in absolute terms they lose around 200 voters (in 2019 there were 9,867). Compared to the last European elections, the League has collapsed, having exceeded 31% in Faenza and now stops at 6%. The scepter, in the centre-right camp, has passed to Fratelli d’Italia which five years ago stopped at 4.45%. Behind the main parties of the centre-left and centre-right coalitions, theGreen-Left Alliance recording 6.93% (1,718 votes), ahead of the 5 Star Movement (6.32%, in 2019 it was 11.66%), League (6.01%) e Forza Italia (5.54%) stable compared to five years before. Lower numbers then for We are Europeans-Action (3.96%), United States of Europe (3.64%) e Peace earth dignity (2.33%).

In Faenza the most virtuous seat is still number 48

The most virtuous seat in terms of participation among the 57 in Faenza was number 48 of the Europa middle school, which brings together voters from, among others, via Canal Grande and via Corbari: i68.33% of voters. In 2019 they were 74.94%. In second place section 50 which obtained 65.80% turnout.
